NEW ROAD TRAFFIC ACT JAMAICA 🇯🇲 FEBRUARY 2023

 

Greetings everyone .today blogstory is about the new road  traffic laws on the island of jamaica 🇯🇲 that went into effect February 1st 2023 . Yes my peoples the government of jamaica has put in place very strict laws for motorist and also bikers on the island ,see below the new road traffic acts and the ticketed fines anyone who violates has to pay in court . Let us check out some of these new laws and their penalty check out the pictures below . For more information on the new road traffic act jamaica check out jamaica constabulary force instagram page as more new laws are being posted . 

Smoking of weed while driving - $10,000 jmd fine 

Turn off the vehicle at gas stations -pouring petrol with engine running or naked light - $4,000 fine 

No valid certificate of fitness - $15,000 fine 

No helmet on bikes - $8,000 fine 

Brake lights not working - $5,000 fine 

Texting while driving - $10,000 fine 

No car insurance- $20,000 fine ,these are just a few of the new road traffic act laws in jamaica . Police also has a decibel meter to detect noise from bikes cars and trucks and of course that also comes with a fine . What are your thoughts on these new road traffic acts in jamaica . REMEMBERING DENNIS BROWN 🕊️REGGAE ENTERTAINER

 

Welcome everyone to a new month . Today is February 1st 2023 and we are remembering the legacy and life of the late reggae entertainer DENNIS BROWN . Across the island of jamaica 🇯🇲 various remembrance gatherings will be taking place and here are two events that I heard of so far . 

In the parish of Manchester/st elizabeth on Thursday February 2nd 2023 a musical tribute featuring various entertainers will take place at villa plaza at 8pm at 29-31 Main Street mandeville Manchester admission will be $500 Jamaican dollars. In the capital of Kingston jamaica today wenesday February 1st 2023 at 3pm a remembrance tribute at the national heroes park where Dennis brown is resting will be held , this event will be hosted by minister babsy grange featuring mr Dean Fraser and many other various entertainers . This event is an all white affair . See the flyer below for more information . 

The late Dennis Brown is a reggae icon that sang lovers Rock reggae . He recorded over 75 albums . His musical career started around age 11 in the late 1960’s . He was born February 1st 1957 and died July 1999. Happy birthday in heaven Dennis brown . We thank you for all your musical legacy you have left behind rest in peace crown prince of reggae music .
