I must say i ENJOYED another year of GRACE JAMAICAN JERK FESTIVAL on SUNDAY JULY 22,2018 at ROY WILKINS PARK here in QUEENS, NEW YORK . this year i made sure i got there EARLY after 12 NOON .upon my ARRIVAL the LINES to get IN was already long ,however things was well ORGANIZED ,had to CLEAR SECURITY FIRST then proceed to the TICKET HOLDERS LINE which went SMOOTHLY . upon ENTRANCE i did not know which WAY to TURN because so much ACTIVITIES was going on at the SAME TIME ,such as KIDS PLAY ZONE AREA, FOOD COURT SECTION with VARIOUS FOOD VENDORS , FARM UP JAMAICA FARMERS MARKET, ARTS AND CRAFTS VENDORS, VARIOUS COMPANIES giving away COMPANY FLYERS, GRACE DRINK SAMPLING BOOTH in the MIDDLE of the PARK , COOK OFF SECTION with the VARIOUS CHEFS ,PATTY EATING CONTEST,And not to mention MAIN STAGE ENTERTAINMENT ,SO MUCH ACTIVITIES GOING ON ,i FINALLY DECIDED to FIRST CHECK out FARM UP JAMAICA FARMERS MARKET where i BOUGHT some SUGUR CANE ,GINEAP and LECHI ,MANY OTHER FOOD PRODUCTS was also at the FARMERS MARKET such as TUMERIC ,BREADFRUIT roast and unroasted, JACKFRUIT,PEPPERS of VARIOUS KINDS ,and a WHOLE BUNCH of OTHER FOOD PRODUCTS from JAMAICA .i then made my way to the FOOD COURT SECTION because i WANTED to make sure to get my FOOD EARLY before the LONG LINES came ,this YEAR i DECIDED to get FOOD from JAMROCK JERK because i been HEARING so much about them ,got my food and headed over to the MEDIA TENT .

THIS YEAR ENTERTAINERS was ELEPHANT MAN , HOOD CELEBRITY, JAHMEIL, JAMAICAN SINGING GROUP L.U.S.T , NIGERIAN ENTERTAINER PATORANKING, REGGAE BAND NEW KINGSTON, HOST was JAMAICAN COMEDIAN RAGASHANTI ,MUSIC by PLATINUM KIDS .all the ENTERTAINERS PERFORMANCES was EXCELLENT , L.U.S.T had the CROWD DANCING and SINGING to there HIT SONGS then each ENTERTAINER SANG there INDIVIDUAL SONGS then they gave us some GOSPEL TUNES , NEW KINGSTON REGGAE BAND GAVE US some MEDOLIC REGGAE MUSIC and SANG some AWESOMES TUNES , NIGERIAN ENTERTAINER PATORANKING had us DANCING to his NIGERIAN BEAT ,bigg ups to the NIGERIAN FANS that was DANCING and SINGING and ENJOYING his AFRICAN VIBES ,JAHMEIL brought the DANCEHALL VIBES he did not PERFORM too LONG due to the RAIN ,HOOD CELEBRITY had the CROWD DANCING to HER WALKING TROPHY in the RAIN and SHE gave us a ACAPELLA of HER NEW SONG ,BUT the ENTERTAINER that TOOK JERK FESTIVAL this YEAR to ME was none other than the ENERGY MAN himself ELEPHANT MAN ,VIBES was FULLY TURNT UP on STAGE from his STAGE ENTRANCE to the END, ELEPHANT MAN did not CARE about the HEAVY RAIN he said WHERE RAIN AGO WE HERE TO ENJOY OURSELFS ,he was so ENERGETIC in the RAIN that at one point he JUMPED into the CROWD ,the ENERGY from ELEPHANT was so POWERFUL that i was still VIDEO RECORDING in the RAIN ,LOL, ELEPHANT MAN CLOSED out JERK FEST 2018 with a BANG ,SHOW ENDED with HIS PERFORMANCE just in TIME because all of a SUDDEN HEAVY RAIN started to FALL and EVERYONE was RUNNING for SHELTER .we all got SOAKING WET yes but VIBES was TURNT UP in the RAIN .big ups to ELEPHANT MAN for a EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE and the other ENTERTAINERS that also did GREAT . RAGASHANTI had the CROWD LAUGHING and QUIZZING US ,PLATINUM KIDS ENTERTAINED us during the INTERMISSIONS with VARIOUS MUSIC .
