For over 1 year now the prime Minister andrew holness has implemented cerfew on the island of jamaica but recently he stated that for the easter weekend 2021 the entire island will be under cerfew from saturday april 3rd 12 noon until monday april 5th 5 a.m which means no easter holiday church service or easter holiday celebration on the island .also police are now locking up people for not complying to covid 19 protocol also fines are being implemented as well on local and tourists that break covid 19 protocol.
In recent days entertainers such as buju banton ,sizzla ,tanya stephens, beenie man and others have taken to social media to speak up against andrew holness and his lockdown cerfew of jamaica .
