Now we all been locked into our homes for over 1 year due to covid 19 and if your like me i was tired of seeing the 4 walls of my home so i decided to take a trip to las vegas to celebrate the gift of living to see another birthday . Lets jump into my trip experience shall we .
As usual when i travel i like to reach the airport extra early to clear jfk long tsa line to my surprise the airport was full of travellers ,i guess everyone was thinking the same as i to get the hell out of new york (lol) . Checked in early cleared tsa got breakfast and sat by the gate . As i said before jfk airport was full of travellers ,my vegas flight was also fully booked as well no empty seats . Mask are required from you enter the airport grounds to when you board the plane to even when your on the plane . eating and drinking your allowed to pull the mask down for brief moments . On the aircraft no hot tea or coffee is served only thing allowed is light snacks of chips cookies ,water or soda .you can bring food on board bought from the shops inside the airport . Sanitize wipes was given out even tho the aircraft was already sanitized. Flight to vegas was about 4 hours due to time difference of 3 hours .landed safely in vegas the first thing i saw while walking to collect my luggage was slot machines inside las vegas airport terminal yes my brownies slot machines are inside the vegas airport terminal i was so excited and amused already (lol ) .
So upon arrival in vegas those with checked baggage had to take a mini tram ride to terminal 3 to pick up our luggage ,tram ride is about 2 minutes not long .
Picked up my luggage and headed outside to catch a taxi to my hotel .taxi service including uber and lift are located right outside the baggage area .the local metered taxi fare from the airport to hotel on the vegas strip is around $27 my hotel the strat was at the end of the vegas strip also take in mind traffic depending on the day and time of your travel .
MY HOTEL STAY
Checked into my hotel was a ease as well i stayed at the strat hotel my hotel room was clean and had a window view of the strat tower and vegas area which i enjoyed each day .the downside to this hotel is that their is not a microwave nor fridge in the room to warm up food and to keep drinks cold neither is there laundry service other hotels on the vegas strip had a fridge and microwave in their rooms but as you know it cost more money , not too many stores to shop at either except a little gift shop and a linagre store .2 other shops was closed. activity wise at the strat hotel are a virtual video game ,sky jump from the strat tower,and other scary dare devil thrill rides ,the tower observation deck was open special discount for strat hotel guests ,places to eat at the strat hotel the strat tower restaurant reservations are required , local mcdonalds and starbucks open early in the morning ,strat cafe is open daily at 7 a.m for breakfast lunch dinner walk ins are accepted at the strat cafe . pizza shop is also open but closes early .over all my stay at the strat hotel was good its a quiet older renovated hotel at the end of the strip .the roof top pool on the 24th floor is open i had fun hanging out there you can order food and drinks poolside .the other bigger pool on the 8th floor was closed . .las vegas is fully opened all hotels are booked out .i walked the vegas strip and i must say las vegas is up n going . I visited the stratosphere at the strat hotel for my birthday dinner awesome experience the floor rotates to view the entire vegas area while you eat ,food was delicious . the main attraction of the strat hotel is the stratosphere tower . over all my stay at the strat hotel was great .if you want to just chill and relax at a reasonable price i would recommend the strat and i would stay there again .all the casino areas of all hotels are located on the first floors and are open 24 hours
PLACES I VISIT LAS VEGAS
I visit the famous fremont street downtown las vegas for st patricks day ,fremont street is the party area of las vegas various restaurants , bars and hotels such as four queens hotel the D hotel and people eating drinking smoking and just having fun on freemont street ,i felt safe on fremont street as police was everywhere as everyone was partying drinking and dancing to music ,roof top zipline also available for those daredevil peeps .
i also visited the volcano show at the mirage hotel it is shown every hour . The bellagio hotel has the waterfall show ,also the conservatory garden which was beautiful . Flamingo hotel i visited the animal conservatory with live pink flamingo's, ducks and pelican . Gordon ramsey burger restaurant and the hex restaurant i ate some delicious entreys. In las vegas at the top restaurants suchs as the stratosphere, gordon ramsey burger and hells kitchen reservations is required due to restaurants capacity of 50 percent due to covid 19 ,mask are required also .at the time of my visit no live shows or live entertainment was going on but i did hear live shows and entertainment should be opening back up soon end of march . I also did a gondola ride in the grand canal shoppes in the venician /pallazo hotel felt as if i was in italy . Grand canal shoppes are all high branded shopping mall with shops such as gucci ,louie v and all expensive stores also a few local shops such as the sock n botts shops and a few restaurants. i also tried out the various local taco restaurants such as taco el gordo ,el pastor taco and iberia taco which are all in the same area next to each other .these taco shops made real tacos just like in mexico the original way they made taco bell look fake . all 3 taco restaurants had real beef and pork the only one that had chicken taco was el pastor taco , my favorite from all 3 was taco el gordo ,iberia taco is wet taco with a lot of soup like sauce plus soup on the side for dipping there taco , mask are required at all restaurants and they took temperature plus you had to sanitize and social distance .
Over all i enjoyed my vegas birtjday vacation and i am thankful to the universe for keeping me safe and the gift of surviving a pandemic .life is a priceless gift for us to live and enjoy it while you can .please check out my youtube videos of my las vegas trip ,remember to stay safe sanitize ,mask up and most importantly pray and give god thanks and praises for all things great and small .

Over all i had fun in las vegas .felt awesome travelling again after 1 year .mask hand sanitizer and temp checks are a protocol so be prepared . I walked the vegas strip each day and night it was amazing .
