Greetings once again .today blogspot article is about the anticipated Grammy awards slated for Sunday February 4th 2024 at the crypto .com arena in Los Angeles California . It is the 66th Grammy awards .it will be broadcasted on cbs tv and stream on paramount live and on demand . We all know the Grammys is the most biggest award show that all entertainers in the United States watch each year .the list of categories are very long however for me my focus is on two categories and they are Best Reggae Album and Best African Music Performance . Before I get into the 2 categories first let me say this that the Grammy awards has added 3 new categories and they are 1 - best African music performance 2 - best alternative jazz album 3 - best pop dance recording . These 3 new categories came effective from the announcement of the Grammy awards as per recording academy ceo Harvey mason jr these 3 new categories was added to make the Grammy awards show more fair ,transparent and accurate . Congrats to all the nominees in these new categories and all nominees of the Grammy awards congrats .
Let’s jump into the two categories I am focus on and excited about which are BEST REGGAE ALBUM .the nominees are buju banton born for greatness- beenie man - simma - collie buddz cali roots riddim 2023 - burning spear no destroyer - Julian Marley and Antaeus colors of royal . and BEST AFRICAN MUSIC PERFORMANCE this is one of the 3 new categories and the nominees in this category are - asake and olamide amapiano - burna boy city boys - Davido featuring musa key’s unavailable- ayra starr rush and tyla water . congrats to all the nominees in these two categories and all nominees of the 2024 Grammy awards congrats on all the hard work dedication and investment into thy musical craft . what are your favorite categories and or entertainer are you looking to see collect a Grammy awards ?
