On Thursday march 14th 2024 dancehall entertainer VYBZ KARTEL was the topic of news and entertainment in jamaica and around the entire world .why you ask ? Well this was the anticipated day that the Privy Council in London England issued a decision on vybz kartel murder charge . The privy court dismissed vybz kartel murder conviction and sent the case back to jamaica for a retrial or to set the dancehall entertainer free . Due to a corrupted juror all evidence that was used to incarcerate Vybz kartel cannot be used at all in the new trial . Also all co- accused such as Shawn storm and a few others in jail also has to get a retrial or be set free under the privy court in London England decision . Vybz kartel and his co- accused can apply for bail . the entire world as the privy council in London England read the final decision granting vybz kartel and his co-accused freedom . Residents of the Waterford area of portmore jamaica took to the streets to celebrate the victory of vybz kartel and his freedom . Vybz kartel lawyer and Shawn storm lawyer both expressed joyful expressions as they sat and listened to the privy council decision . Congrats to vybz kartel and his legal team . Let us watch and see now the decision of the court of appeal in jamaica will they choose a retrial or set the dancehall entertainer free ?
